Accounts, passwords & usernames

All Carringbush.Net customers are provided with a username and a password. You need an account to access most carringbush services including:

• Checking for email messages.
• Accessing the control panel for your website.
• Getting ftp access to your website.
• Accessing your account details.
• Making changes to a website.
• Using custom built software.

Choosing a Username

You can choose any username as long as the name follows these guidelines:

• The name is between 3 and 12 characters long
• Starts with a letter
• Contains only numbers and letters
• Not already in use
• Not a generic word such as info or sales
